Cancellation

Taking out cancellation insurance is a wise choice. Such insurance covers costs incurred when you have to cancel your holiday or trip. For example, if you have booked a trip and cannot leave at the last minute, the costs can quickly mount up due to flight cancellations or illness. With cancellation insurance, you are covered for these costs, so you don't have to worry about high expenses if you suddenly can't leave.

There can be various reasons for cancelling or cutting short a holiday, such as the illness or accident of a family member, death, pregnancy, unexpected relocation, or even unemployment. In such cases, the cancellation insurance will reimburse the costs of cancelling or cutting short the trip. If you have to end your trip prematurely, you may also receive a refund for the unused travel days.

In short, taking out cancellation insurance is highly recommended when you go on holiday or travel. It provides financial security and ensures that you can leave with peace of mind, knowing that you are insured against unexpected costs.

Cancellation by the travel group

Cancelling your booking is possible. At Lavinia Naturist Resort, the following conditions apply:

1. You must always cancel your booking by email.

2. Cancellation is free of charge up to 7 calendar days from the booking date.

3. Up to 180 calendar days before arrival, a cancellation fee of €200 is due.

4. Cancellations made 150 calendar days or less before arrival, including the day of arrival, are subject to a withholding of 25% of the total travel cost.

5. Cancellations made 90 calendar days or less before arrival, including the day of arrival, are subject to a withholding of 50% of the total travel cost.

6. Cancellations made 45 calendar days or less before arrival, including the day of arrival, are subject to a withholding of 100% of the total travel cost.

7. There is no refund if guests leave before the departure date after their stay has begun. Moreover, all additional costs incurred during their stay must be settled immediately.

8. We confirm all cancellations. If you do not receive written confirmation of a cancellation, this means that we have not received your cancellation, you still have a booking, and we will charge you for it.

9. Once the cancellation has been confirmed by us, the accommodation will be released for re-letting.

10. We will then make every effort to re-let the accommodation (by highlighting the available period, offering last-minute discounts, placing paid advertisements, etc.) to keep the financial damage for you to a minimum. If we are able to re-let part of the cancelled period, there is a possibility that you may recover part of it through a holiday voucher. However, this is not a guarantee and cannot be demanded.

Cancellation by Lavinia or due to an external event

11. If the guest's stay is unavailable during the booked rental period due to an external event, we will reimburse the amount already paid to Lavinia within 7 days of notification. We will never have to pay you more than the amount already paid by you.

12. Transfer of ownership

Lavinia is currently for sale. We aim to ensure that if there is a takeover by a new owner, the offer and service remain unchanged.

If the offer or service differs significantly, a suitable solution will be sought in mutual consultation.

If the consultation does not lead to a satisfactory solution for the guest, the full amount paid to Lavinia, including any advances, will be refunded immediately. The refund can never be higher than the amount already paid.
