Cancellation
Taking out cancellation insurance is a smart choice. Such insurance covers costs that arise when you have to cancel your holiday or trip. For example, if you have booked a trip and are unable to leave at the last minute, the costs can increase considerably, for example due to cancelled flights or illness. With cancellation insurance, you are insured against these costs, so you do not have to worry about high expenses if you are suddenly unable to leave.
There can be various reasons to cancel or cut short a holiday, such as illness or accident of a family member, death, pregnancy, an unexpected move, or even unemployment. In such cases, the cancellation insurance will cover the costs of cancelling or cutting short the trip. Even if you have to end your trip halfway, you can receive compensation for the unused travel days.
In short, taking out cancellation insurance is definitely recommended when you go on holiday or travel. It offers financial security and ensures that you can leave with peace of mind, knowing that you are insured against unexpected costs.
Cancellation by the travel group
Cancellation of your booking is possible. At Lavinia Naturist Resort the following conditions apply:
1. You can always cancel your booking by email.
2. Cancellation is free of charge up to 7 calendar days from the booking date.
3. Up to 180 calendar days before arrival, a cancellation fee of €200 is due.
4. Cancellations made 180 calendar days or less prior to arrival, including the day of arrival, are subject to a deduction of 25% of the total tour price.
5. Cancellations made 90 calendar days or less prior to arrival, day of arrival included, are subject to a withholding of 50% of the total tour price.
6. Cancellations made 45 calendar days or less prior to arrival, day of arrival included, are subject to a deduction of 100% of the total tour price.
7. There will be no refunds if guests leave before the departure date, after their stay has started. In addition, all additional costs incurred during their stay must be settled immediately.
8. We will confirm all cancellations. If you do not receive written confirmation of a cancellation, it means that we have not received your cancellation, you still have a booking and we will charge for it.
9. Once the cancellation has been confirmed by us, the accommodation will be released for rental again.
10. We will then do everything in our power to re-let the accommodation (by placing the vacant period in the spotlight, giving a last-minute discount, placing a paid advertisement, etc.) to limit the financial damage to you. If we can still rent out part of the cancelled period, there is a possibility that you can still recover part of it via a holiday voucher. However, this is not a guarantee, nor is it claimable.
Cancellation by Lavinia or by an external calamity
11. If the guest house is not available in the booked rental period due to an external calamity, we will reimburse the rent already paid within 7 days after notification, by means of a Lavinia holiday voucher. In no case will we have to pay you a higher compensation for the rental period.
